Associate Director of Health Informatics, Technology & Strategy
Asma Ahmed is the Associate Director of Health Informatics, Technology and Strategy at St.Vincent’s Health Partners. Her role encompasses leading the department of Health Information Technology with key focus on Data Analytics, Visualization, and Reporting. She provides Health IT and HIPAA insight on policy, procedure, and compliance for organizational operations. Asma is leading SymphonyRM™ project implementations for clinical patient outreach and engagement applications. She is currently implementing Arcadia Analytics™ project, a claims data warehouse across multiple payer data sources. Asma Ahmed is a key decision maker on data flow and system integration for data use in relation to patient outreach, trending analysis on finance, clinical utilization and attribution. Her efforts focus on collaborating with clinical and financial teams to reach goals supporting the organizational vision and mission. In the past she has worked with several pioneering projects including Tableau™ Dashboards, Tableau™ reports, and PatientPing™. She continues to leverage technology to meet the Quadruple Aim and population health management. Asma completed her MS in Healthcare Informatics with the Gold medal of honor in 2015 from Sacred Heart University. In 2014, Asma was the New England HIMSS Dvora Brodie Grant recipient.
